Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a safe physical exfoliation method. We use a sterile scalpol to gently remove the very top layer of the skin and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) on the face, leaving a brighter complexion and softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Microdermabrasion
This facial consists of a wand delivering a fine jet of abrasive crystals being passed over the skin. We recommend this for ageing skin, pigmentation, oily skin, dehydrated skin, acne scarring and stretch marks. The huge number of benefits is what makes microdermabrasion such a popular treatment.

Mesotherapy Skin Boosters
Mesotherapy is a non-surgical treatment with minimal downtime that uses micro-injections of vitamins, peptides, hyaluronic acid, plant extracts and other ingredients to rejuvenate and nourish the skin whilst also stimulating the production of collagen. The micro-injections create tiny breaks in the skin, allowing the products to penetrate the skin and work directly at a cellular level. This treatment can also be used to address pigmentation problems, help reduce acne scarring and be combined to enhance the effects of other aesthetic treatments such as Botox and fillers.

IPL Skin Rejuvenation
The Beauty Rooms medi spa IPL/Laser uses pulses of light to treat different skin concerns. It can treat conditions such as open pores, thread veins, pigmentation and acne. It can also be used as an advanced facial treatment to help with ageing, tired skin, fine lines and coarse skin texture. This is an advanced way of improving the look and feel of your skin. You will see results after one session, although we do recommend a course of sessions for skin rejuvenation. For thread veins and pigmentation, results are assessed after each session. On average 1-6 sessions. IPL skin rejuvenation is a growing trend and alternative to cosmetic procedures.

IPL Skin Rejuvenation Treatment

Light energy is absorbed by the collagen, causing it to denature and stimulate production of new collagen, which improves the skin texture and tone, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

Number of Treatments Required: 6 treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments as needed.

IPL Pigmentation
IPL is fantastic for treating pigmentation, lentigines also known as age/sunspots, and ephelides also known as freckles respond very well to IPL. Pigmentation normally occurs on face, neck, decollate and hands. Light energy is absorbed by the melanin in the lesion causing it to breakdown and sloth away with the natural skin cycle process over a course of treatments. Anything from 1-6 sessions are needed to dramatically reduce the pigmentation or remove it.

IPL Acne Treatment
The Blue light emitted from the IPL system directly targets overactive sebaceous glands, greatly reducing the total number and severity of active lesions and lessening the inflammation and occurrence of breakouts. The light stimulates the production of new collagen to improve skin texture and can also reduce the appearance of red or brown areas of skin that are often associated with acne breakouts.

IPL Vascular Treatment
Telangiectasia (thread veins) – are small, dilated blood vessels. They are commonly seen on the face, especially around the cheeks and nose. These can be heredity, although they can also be related to such factors as skin ageing, sun damage & pregnancy. Thread veins respond very well to IPL. IPL light energy is absorbed by the haemoglobin in the blood resulting in the lesion breaking down and being reabsorbed by the blood stream.
Treatment areas: Face and superficial leg lesions with multiple treatments.

Bipolar Radio Frequency Facial Treatment
